Another one of these great experimental Kinect programs is the use of gesture-based control on the Windows Media Center software. Youtube user docarer displays this recent Kinect program that can play and select media through gesture-based commands. In the video, the user is seen navigating through the Windows Media Center by using hand gestures thanks to the Kinect. This brings the possibility of having the Windows OS be fully compatible and usable using the Kinect. As more of Windows’ softwares and features are being controlled by the Kinect, we might soon see a new OS on the block. What say you on the Windows Kinect OS?
