We usher in a new Kinect hack set on improving the quality of visual presentations given by people. Through flashy hand gestures, the Kinect Videowall responds accordingly and gives out its own version of flashy slide transitions and image animations. VIVID Interactive is currently in the forefront of creating interactive tools using the Kinect. Their latest campaign in providing quality and exciting presentation tools led them to create this Videowall which hey recently showcased. The setup consists of a Kinect mounted at the top of a wall. Positioning themselves at the bottom of the Kinect, users through arm swings and selective pointing gestures control the Videowall. Swinging the arms control the slide transitions while certain hand gestures are coded in order to animate text, images or the slide content. The result is a stunning and entertaining presentation that is sure to not only make presentations easier, but to also capture the attention of the audience.
