Get the chance to see the beautiful sky and even manipulate it at the comforts of your own hammock. The Kinect Sky Manipulation or Chris’ Hammock is the latest Kinect interactive design to come our way that creates this great variation to interior furniture. Calli Higgins shares this Kinect hack with the community and displays the array of visual serenity this program can bring. In the video, the user lies down in a hammock and sees the sky through a projected image. With the Kinect, the user can control the clouds and stars and create this serene and relaxing experience. Imagine that the whole house can have this interactive feature and even the designs responds to the user’s actions. Are we seeing the future of interior design?

Here is a description by the developer:

Lay back in a hammock, reach up to the sky, and let the clouds gravitate toward your hands as you drag them around in a playful, projected sky. When day turns into night, you can form your own constellations by repositioning twinkling stars.
