The MikuMikuDance hack was one of the earliest Kinect hacks available for community use. Chelfyn from the Geek Show pays tribute to the MikuMiku and creates this tutorial video to help users install and try the Kinect program for their own use. This Kinect program enables users to take control of a popular anime figure through the Kinect’s motion capture feature. With this, users can manipulate the digital anime avatar to dance or do whatever physical action the user does. This video guides users in order to properly install the program in their computer, configure it with the Kinect and also install the VJ program with it. This will allow users to add music to the MikuMikuDance program. Thank you Kelvin for this great tutorial video!

Is there a way to track multiple people and load multiple models ? not just the mikumiku character ??
Of course, by downloading other models through the internet. A lot of models can be downloaded from the DeviantArt. 🙂
I have an error;
“Can’t create any node of the requested type!”
Any ideas? My Primse Sense key is correct and I have follwed all your instructions.
Thanks,
Graham
I’ve been trying so many different methods and haven’t been able to get miku to work with kinect. Installed different versions and both x86 and x64 bit version and still no luck. It keeps coming up ” openNI.dll is missing” even with different miku versions. Googled it and nothing helpful that fixes the problem. Even this zip I’ve download from this site don’t work at all. Same problems. Don’t seem like these openNI are well developed because I tried all versions of them and still have same problem.
