We revisit this now-turned stage where performers and audience members alike can partake in the show! The Kinect Interactive Stage in Trailer Park Festival 2011 is the practical application of the interactive visuals hack we previously saw. This video by Andrei Maia displays how their setup and the Kinect is able to captivate and involve their audience! In the video, a concert is held and an the audience is able to to control some of the visuals shown on the stage by inserting their hands on specified holes. The Kinect then captures the audience’s hand movements and then creates larger than life images on the band’s backdrop based on those movements. The outcome is a immersing experience through live bands, colorful visuals and the freedom to be a part of it!
