In the recent MIX11, there was a lot of Kinect programs/hacks that were presented. One of these hacks provides a reliable Natural User Interface to control a hover drone. Youtube user WMExperts released this video with speakers showcasing the hover drone’s NUI and how the user, using only hand gestures, can manipulate the the flight path and power of the drone. The control panel contains the acceleration and halt buttons that the user can press remotely. It also has the directional stick which users can interact with in order to guide the hover drone’s flight path. There is also the power button that closes the drone’s NUI and also shuts down the machine. This useful addition to the different ways of manipulating hover drones provide users with the flexibility in choosing and using the right NUI for them
