The influence of the Kinect community reaches new heights as the PBS show recently featured the “Kinect Hacks Need To Know”. This feature documents the various Kinect programs that has been made by the community thus far and even compares it to the futuristic fiction film, the Minority Report. The NUI that the Kinect brings is one of the factors that makes the common user very interested with what the Kinect hackers can come up with. Either way, the exposure that the Kinect community got through the PBS Show feature will definitely inspire other would-be developers to use the Kinect in experimenting on various software designs and modifications they have in mind.
