How about both lights and sounds follow your every gesture? The Kinect Gesture-Based A/V Presentation by Matt Davis shows how laser lights and Ableton Live help create this physical-oriented display. In this video, the user is seen standing in front of various laser light displays. The Kinect captures the user’s body and tracks the movement. The laser light reacts to the user movements, moving up and down or disappearing entirely based on the programmed response. With the Ableton Live software, the movements also play a certain beat. With the light and beats responding to the user’s gestures, we now have a great party/presentation medium in our hands!
