The Kinect community delights in user-made Kinect games. This proves that aside from the commercially available games, Kinect users can use the depth camera device to play and also create their own custom made games. This video by Youtube user alexkorlando demonstrates this Kinect game at work. Unity3d serves as the base platform for this flying game. Using body movements, players fly around the game getting items as fast and as fluidly as they can. The game might be simple in nature but the fact that it responds through the Kinect and the user’s movements, the game is very immersing and offers a dynamic new way to control “indie” games.
