Help disabled youth to acquire language skills! The Kinect CopyCat is a program for computer aided sign language learning. This video by ReMIX South displays the basics and the information about the program and how kids can stay entertained while also learning a critical method of communication in the process. In the video, the developer gives a presentation about the hack and the benefits that it can impart on audio impaired youths. The Kinect is able to track the hand of the user, recognizing the hand gestures and verifying if the sign language is correct. The user then can continuously train with the Kinect CopyCat in order to learn and hone sign language! Indeed, the world of communication is becoming more accessible with the Kinect.
