It has always been Windows but for the Kinect community, no software or operating system can stop them for creating gesture-based control. With this thought, the community has managed to bring a Kinect-controlled program for the Mac OS X. Users can now rest easy knowing that their favorite niche OS has the potential of having a NUI control it. In this video by Youtube user MaZaHaKaTo, the Mac OS X is clearly controlled by the user’s hand. The hand movements serve as the cursor and having two hands control the OS brings in additional features like minimizing and maximizing windows, etc. The program is very striking primarily because of the optimized controls that we believe, would make Mac OS X users feel at home despite having two hands control the OS rather than two fingers.
