The stereogram is an optical illusion that, through the crossing of eyes, reveals a crafty hidden image. The Kinect, through its ability to capture 3d images, gives users the ability to easily create their own stereogram. This video by Kyle McDonald demonstrates this program he made, the Autosterogram. The users first select a default image pattern that they would like the an image to be hidden. After selecting this, the user then enables the Kinect to capture the desired image and embed them to the pattern. This results into an easily yet effectively made stereogram. Users will be delighted then to know that the Kinect Autostereogram’s application is available to download and can be used by users to create their gallery of stereograms.
