Remotely controlling robots to perform daily routines are now upon us as the Kinect enables users to control the Nao Robot to perform chores. One featured here today is the Nao Robot Slicing a Banana for eating purposes. Taylor Veltrop showcases his latest Kinect exploit by having his trusty Nao robot perform the banana slicing chore for him. Using the Kinect, the user is able to remotely control the Kinect Nao Robot and perform the needed task. This gives the possibility of having users remotely accomplish task by having robots do the chores for them. This might prove useful especially on hazardous scenarios where the user’s life and health can be placed in peril. Having a safe distance and control over robots seek to solve this problem.
