So what do you look like when you’re composed of only a single body part? The Kinect Interactive Video Installation displays an intriguing effect made possible by the Skeletal Tracking feature and effect embed. This video by Michel Winterberg showcases the result of of fusing a sublime concept and the wonders of Kinect technology. In the video, the user’s frame is tracked by the Kinect. The program on the other hand creates a video translation of the user but the difference is that the user is composed of only a single body part (in this case, eyes or the mouth). This figure then follows and mimics the user’s action. Truly a different experience that people who love interactive video should try!
