So what do you look like when you’re composed of only a single body part? The Kinect Interactive Video Installation displays an intriguing effect made possible by the Skeletal Tracking feature and effect embed. This video by¬†Michel Winterberg showcases the result of of fusing a sublime concept and the wonders of Kinect technology. In the video, the user’s frame is tracked by the Kinect. The program on the other hand creates a video translation of the user but the difference is that the user is composed of only a single body part (in this case, eyes or the mouth). This figure then follows and mimics the user’s action. Truly a different experience that people who love interactive video should try!
