The one-click-away-to-information is now replaced with any any-gesture-access-to-information! The Kinect Information Kiosk with QwikTouchPro is another step further in developing a gesture-based information and media hub. This video by Brandon Imhoff shows how, with the Kinect, the next era of computing will be that of a touch-less, New User Interface method. In the video, the user is seen browsing through schedules, images and information using only a series of gestures. Navigating around the Kinect Information Kiosk is quick, easy and efficient. The program was made with the QwikTouchPro WPF application, allowing great NUI controls. With this kind of technology now in our grasp, organizing and accessing information will be as easy as a flick of the wrist.
