We’ve talked about how the Kinect can help make marketing campaigns completely captivating. Today, we’ve got another innovative example of how Microsoft’s miracle tool can make your products stand out.
We came across a real estate expo demo for the Adarsh Premia, a 25-floor apartment located in the heart of Bangalore, India. The demo utilizes the Kinect to turn the whole thing into an interactive experience — people can ‘hold’ the new building in their hands and select floor plans through the pop-ups that appear in their hands. It’s definitely much better at attracting customers than handing out boring flyers.
The developers say that they were inspired by the Ford Escape Kinect Experience, a hack that we featured previously, and that their project has met a lot of success. According to them, this was the first Kinect Hack in India to be experienced by people in a retail expo and it helped significantly increase the number of booth visitors.
