Summon your own butterflies and let nature’s kiss delight you! The Kinect Augmented Reality Butterflies lets users create a group of pretty butterflies through their waving gestures. This video by Ángel Sastre showcases this simple yet joyous hack of creating these butterflies through actions captured by the Kinect. In the video, a user is seen holding a white box, supposedly container of the butterflies. Waving the box summons the butterflies and they fly around the user like real ones. The user then can continuously wave the box in order to create more butterflies and produce a beautiful nature scene in their monitors. With hacks such as these, worlds can be created and users will have interactive environments right at the comforts of their home.
