Our last featured hack had something to do with virtual colors. Why not take that to the next level by using the Kinect to make virtual paintings?
Today’s featured hack is called Air Paint and was showcased at a Kansas City art event last August called First Friday’s:
“Moonshot created an app that turns First Friday’s in KC from an art viewing experience into an art creating experience. Using a Kinect, the software tracks the position and direction of the artist’s hands. Visitors can create a shareable video of the creation of their Air Painting.”
